NORTH SOMERSET COUNCIL
SECTION 122(2A) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 – APPROPRIATION OF OPEN SPACE LAND BETWEEN LADYMEAD LANE AND BROADOAK ROAD, LANGFORD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Somerset Council intends to appropriate approximately 0.03 hectares of open space land between Ladymead Lane and Broadoak Road, Langford (the Land) for highways purposes. The Land is proposed to be developed as a public right of way as an improvement of the existing public right of way between Ladymead Lane and Broadoak Road (no. AX14/42/20) as part of the Banwell Bypass and Southern Link highway improvements scheme. A plan showing the Land can be viewed online at https://n-somerset.gov.uk/council-democracy/councillors-committees/decisions-meetings/public-legal-notices, or a hard copy obtained by contacting the Banwell Bypass email inbox at banwell.bypass@n-somerset.gov.uk or 01275 884 390.
Before making any decision on the appropriation the Council will consider all representations received by 12:00 noon, 14 June 2023. Any representations should be made in writing to HiF Senior Project Manager, Town Hall, Walliscote Grove Road, Weston super Mare BS23 1UJ or by email to banwell.bypass@n-somerset.gov.uk quoting reference BANWELL.
