Physical Activity Strategy short survey.

Published: 06 October 2022

North Somerset Council is inviting residents, schools and physical activity providers to help shape a new joint Physical Activity Strategy by completing a short survey.
The Council and key stakeholders are committed to improving opportunities for everyone to participate in physical activity in North Somerset and recognise the vast benefits of physical activity on physical health and mental wellbeing, in connecting and strengthening communities and the local economy. The strategy will set out our priorities to improve physical activity participation, while reducing inequalities in activity levels across the area over the next three years (2023-2026).
Residents are being invited to share:

how active they are,
how important being physically active is to them,
which activities people take part in, where and when, whether they take part alone or with others, and their reasons for taking part in activities, and details of any barriers that prevent them from being active.

The residents and physical activity providers consultation questionnaires can be found at: www.n-somerset.gov.uk/physical22 To find out more about North Somerset’s Physical Activity Strategy, visit: www.betterhealthns.co.uk/information/pa-strategy
