Welcome to Churchill Parish Council
Serving the communities of Churchill and Langford
Hello and a warm welcome! Our aim is to ensure this website serves as your comprehensive guide to everything our wonderful area has to offer – from the latest on community events to details about the Parish Council’s activities.
If you have something you’d like to share with the community? We’re all ears! Get in touch with us clerk@churchillpc.org.uk.
What do we do?
The Parish Council is your go-to source for local governance and support. Your council is proudly composed of 13 dedicated councillors, each either elected every four years or co-opted to fill vacancies as they arise, ensuring your voices are heard and represented.
Serving alongside us, we have two tiers of local government dedicated to the well-being of Churchill and Langford residents. Our Parish Council works hand in hand with the North Somerset Unitary District Council to cover all bases of community needs and services.
Behind the scenes, our diligent team includes a Parish Clerk, a Responsible Financial Officer, a Communications Officer and a Parish Orderly. Although these crucial roles are part-time, their impact is full-time. As we embrace flexibility and efficiency, our Parish Clerk although often seen around and about in the Parish coordinates operations from home, streamlining our efforts to serve you better—without the need for a physical office.
Together with you, our residents, we’re here to make a difference in our community.
