 NEW PARISH COUNCIL PLANNING COMMITTEE

The Parish Council has changed the method of dealing with Planning Matters. ALL planning matters (including individual applications / large applications / strategic matters) are now dealt with by the Planning Committee which meets monthly on the published dates. Planning Matters are no longer dealt with at the monthly meetings of the full council

West of England:JOINT SPATIAL PLAN : RESPONSE OF CHURCHILL PARISH COUNCIL The latest published version of the Joint Spatial Plan has Major Implications for the Parish of Churchill - with proposals for two new major roads and some 2800 houses.  On 9th January 2018 the Parish Council sent their response to the document.  VACANCY FOR PARISH COUNCILLOR :  A vacancy for a councillor has arisen on the Parish Council : As no election has been called by residents within the required time frame this vacancy can now be filled by co-option.  Any resident of the Parish who is interested in becoming a councillor is invited to contact the Chair-Councillor Mrs Jackie Bush,any member of the council, or the Clerk.  

 

 

 The Annual return for the Council Year 2017-18 (as required by The Accounts & Audit regulations 2015, and The Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014) has been submitted to the external auditors (PKF Littlejohn LLP)

The Parish Council agreed the budget and precept for 2018-19 on the 8th January 2018.  To view the budget click here
